2026 Application
Each year, Wichita Federal Credit Union (WFCU) awards up to eight scholarships to qualified applicants through the Dana Winkler Scholarship for the Fall semester. The Scholarship award amount is $2,000 per recipient.
The application deadline is March 31, 2026, by 11:59 pm CST. All applicants will be notified in May 2026.
To apply for the scholarship, please follow the instructions below.
1) This scholarship is not awarded more than twice in succession. For example, if you were awarded a scholarship in 2024 and 2025, you are not eligible for the 2026 award. However, you are encouraged to apply again in 2027.
2) Your Wichita Federal Credit Union membership or Freedom 1st Legacy Account must have begun on or before March 31, 2025, and accounts must be in good standing.
3) You're either a graduating high school senior or a full-time undergraduate college student enrolled in a post-secondary school.
4) You have at least a 3.0 grade point average.

Complete the Application in its entirety. Attach the required documents listed on the Application and email to: marketing@wichitafcu.com
Note on Transcripts: Colleges and/or Universities may elect to send transcripts directly to Wichita Federal Credit Union, Marketing Department, Jacquie Carpenter, 9835 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS. 67206.
